During the modern era in Notre Dame hockey, no coach has had more success than Jeff Jackson. Jackson has compiled a .604 winning percentage and also piloted the Irish to their only two Frozen Four Appearances in program history. Anders Lee Called Up by the New York Islanders

The New York Islanders announced earlier this week that former Notre Dame forward, Anders Lee, was called up from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League. In the 54 games that he has played this season, Lee has scored 41 point (22 goals and 19 assists) for the Sound Tigers. His 22 goals lead the Sound Tigers for the year and ranks him second among AHL rookies. Lee was drafted in the sixth round by the Islanders in the 2009 NHL Draft.
