A Notre Dame Football Blog
Unfortunately, Shane couldn't join me on this episode thanks to aftermath of Hurricane Irma (don't worry, he's safe!). So, it's back to the early days of the pod as I rolled solo on this episode. So come join me as I recap the week that was in college football as some rather big things happened. And, of course, talking about Notre Dame's loss to Georgia. I promise I got most of my visiting crowd/ticket resale rage out yesterday. It's time to get down to the football in this episode. ...
With Irma barrelling towards Shane's home of Florida, we did everything we could to get the preview episode out. Come hear our breakdown of some of the biggest games of the week, including Notre Dame vs. Georgia. Plus, picks with Eddie and y'all should really come pick against us in our pool. We will split the season up into segments so don't worry if you missed week one, come on in! ...
Shane has pretty much been drinking since his birthday so, with a great Irish victory, we decided to go full drunk cast. Come listened to us recap the week that was in college football and have all the happy thoughts about Notre Dame's 49-16 victory over temple. ...
Actual college football is happening this weekend. That means spreads are back and that means it's time for Eddie and I to head back to the altar of GAMBLOR for some hilariously terrible picks, including futures for the college football season. Spoiler alert: lots of chalk may be involved. #HAILGAMBLOR! ...
Yes, this podcast is a little late. Blame me for smacking my head too hard over the weekend on an ATV. Oh, yeah, there's also a lot of ND talk in this one. Football is nearly here! ...
Shane may be out again, but Jack Jorgensen returns to the show to chat college football, Florida suspensions, neutral site games, an outsider's perspective on Notre Dame, and a little bit of pro wrestling, including a brief education on the wonder that is Daryl. Plus, a few quick words on some insight into what will be on the jumbotron this season as well as some thoughts on this past weekend's events in Charlottesville. ...
Shane may be out in this episode, but, thankfully we already had a guest scheduled to spare you from hearing me talk to myself! Irish Illustrated's Kevin Sinclair joins the show to discuss a rather huge week in Notre Dame recruiting. Plus, as I am admittedly far from a recruiting aficionado, I ask Kevin to give his take and insight on the crazy world that he covers. There's some great nuggets of info in there, my favorite of which is one rather major difference between how Stanford and Notre ...
On this episode, we are happy to have Tyler James from the South Bend Tribune and NDInsider.com join us (@ 17:49) to preview the upcoming Irish football season and talk about the NDInsider preview magazine (which you can buy here). We also talk Ashton White's depature from the ND football program and Ole Miss dismissing Hugh Freeze over a very unfortunate (and stupid) phone call. ...
After having many an adventure in real estate, Shane and I finally get back in front of our microphones to talk college football. It's been far too long since we last talked and there has been loads of college football news that's happened since our last episode. It would be impossible to cover everything, so we focused on some more recent items of note: Bob Elliott's passing, Bob Stoops' sudden retirement, and Malik Zaire's transfer. We also discuss a topic that I've been chomping at the bit ...
Yes, we know, very original title. However, there is not one more fitting as this episode is all Notre Dame football. We talk Campus Crossroads/stadium renovation, the Jumbotron sighting, The Shirt (an HLS tradition unlike any other), and, of course the Blue/Gold game itself. So enjoy the last bit of actual football game-like activity until September with us! ...
