Yes, I’m using a golf analogy for this week. You’ll hear the term “moving day” on Saturday in the golf tournament, especially during The Masters. The cut has passed, but the true contenders of the tournament start making their marks and separating themselves from the rest of the pack.
That’s what this week in college football feels like, at least on paper. The cupcakes are done (for now) for many of the top teams in the nation. Conference play begins in earnest and chances to hide behind a beating of a far inferior team are few and far between.
This means that Shane and I have quite a few games to preview (and Eddie and I to pick!). Plus, the Irish have a test themselves as they head into the hostile environment of East Lansing to take on the Spartans.
Come get your college football weekend started early with us. Oh, and don’t forget to join the pick ’em! Plus, I finally fixed some issues here on the site, so tell your friends they can also join by visiting herloyalsons.com/pickem!

Wimbush went from one of the highest rated passing QBs in high school to liability in the pocket. Weird
