WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! (Thank you so much, Greg Hudson, for giving me an excuse to pull out some classic Ric Flair).
By now, y’all know the drill. The prediction form is below, bonus points, standings, staff picks, and cat picks after.
Bonus Points
A first half shootout, ND leads at half, until they pull away late. Cuse WR has another monster game. – @mjkonczal
While the wording is slightly confusing (I’m assuming “until” is “and”), this is pretty much the most dead-on description of how this went down. +1
My 2 year old is a pain in the ass. That’s all. – Dixie_Domer
I feel this pain, sir. I feel like it’s only going to get worse. +1
My record when wearing The Shirt: 0-3.
Not wearing it today.
If Notre Dame loses I will turn into Hodor. – @irishmikecomedy
Thanks for not wearing The Shirt and for holding the door. +1
Some honorable mention for these two. Good, detailed explanations that were so, so very close to getting a bonus point:
After a 2 week hiatus im back and have never been more worried about the state of the program. However this saturday at the meadowlands the irish will actually look like a serviceable football team. Kizer throws for 4 TD. Defense records not only one but TWO sacks, and even forces a turnover. Game frustrates for a while until irish pull away in second half. – Creiter15
Notre Dame will have a bounce back week after losing 2 games at home.I think we will shut down this team by getting 2 INTs and 2 sacks.I think Kizer will have another big game with 3 TDs threw the air.He will not throw an interception.Folston and Adams will each get over 70 yds rushing.Equanimous St.Brown will have another 100 yd game with a TD.I think Notre Dame will win by 17 to improve the record to 2-3. – Fighting Irish Boy
Seriously, very tempted to give the points for having the stones to predict two sacks. Too many other stat prediction inaccuracies though. Sometimes more is less!
