Now a week removed from watching Nick Saban re-installed as the dark lord of the college football world, I’m ready to shed a small amount of light onto a few folks. The HLS/ND Fan Radio group ended up having over 100 people participate for the glory and prizes that came with it. In the end, it wasn’t much of a battle. Entry Kizer4Heisman dominated the rest of the group, and quite frankly most of the rest of the Internet. His 734 points put him in the 99.8 percentile for all ESPN entries. For his dominance, he will receive the $100 gift card to the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore.
Far more interesting was the battle for the second place prize. Ending in a tie were entries ClassicShmosby and IrishJimmy who both finished with 691 points. I’ve decided to split the $50 second place prize equally between these two entries so everyone can feel like a winner.
If these three folks will either send me a DM on Twitter to @HLS_Moons or leave an e-mail address in the comments below (once I’ve got your e-mail addy I’ll delete the comment so that it’s not out there for the world), we’ll work on coordinating delivery of your prize.
Thanks to everyone who participated this year. We hope it was fun.
Also, congrats are due to @BrendanMcP who was a dunce like the rest of us and picked ND to win the bowl game but proved less stupid than the rest of us over the course of the season to take home the coveted title of best-game-picker-guy-gal. All hail the King!

Hey hey! Climbing out of a dark hole of work for the last couple months… glad to see I pulled it off. Wish we would have been right with that last pick though… sigh… Cheers!
