If somehow you haven’t gotten a chance to use the internet in the past 24-36 hours, or haven’t gotten to read anything anywhere remotely related to Notre Dame Football, I hate to be the one to tell you but Malik Zaire is done for the year with a season-ending ankle fracture. It’s literally the worst-case scenario and we are in Week 2. Sports can really suck sometimes.
BUT FEAR NOT FOLKS! Backup QB DeShone Kizer stepped into the game on a COLOSSAL stage and seized his “moment of truth” by finding Will Fuller deep behind the defense with 12 seconds left in the game and got the Irish their 2nd win of the season. Notre Dame survives to fight another day!
