The 52^nd anniversary of The Hesburgh Library, which many of us know as “Touchdown Jesus” on Saturdays, is quickly approaching on September 18^th. I would like to take the opportunity to celebrate education and top-notch study habits by dressing like a Librarian this week. So much to study, so little time and it’s only week two!

The first thing I had to figure out was what the Virginia Cavaliers were all about. My initial assumption was not to worry at all about this game because Lebron would choke in the 4^th quarter. I quickly found out I was having a blonde moment and that was the wrong Cavaliers. The Virginia Cavaliers have been known to pull some upsets and since this is their first home game, I expect a better showing than they produced against UCLA. On the other hand, I remember their defensive coach, Jon Tenuta, coaching our very own Fighting Irish and giving up tons of points. I tried to block stuff like that out, but even tailgate blackouts can’t cure everything. With that said, my prediction for the game is the Fighting Irish will kick the Cavaliers back into the 17^th Century, not Ohio, where they belong with a score of 28 – 21.
