It was one hell of a week for Irish fans. Let’s take a look back.

First, because I felt like it, I decided to schedule a series with the Ohio State Buckeyes. Ohio State is one of the most respected programs in the nation and represents an impressive addition to our schedule. They have one of the most innovative coaches in the game with Urban Meyer and Columbus will give our fans an experience they truly will never forget.

But I don’t give a damn about any of that. I just wanted to stick it to Michigan and I thought scheduling Ohio State would be funny. I was right. And I will schedule ANY school, ANY where, at ANY time before I will EVER honor the Skunkbears with our name on their schedule again.

Second, after a move like that I needed Coach Kelly and the men to close out this series the right way — by annihilating and humiliating Michigan before a national television audience. Anything less would have been unacceptable.

The team did not disappoint…and neither did you. Kudos to all of you for lighting up my timeline with pure awesomeness, but here are four that set the gold standard. Congratulations, gentlemen.

@justknox — a steady stream of hate and outstanding in-game commentary.
@SupermanTDJesus — I’m convinced that this guy could live tweet his own bowel movements and it would be Twitter gold.
@dapremonster — he used the word “resplendent.” Respect.
@taxbastard — his NSFW tweets are hilarious and not for everyone, but he gets a sticker for the late “back door” comment. I shot Maker’s Mark out of my nose. Do you know how much that hurts?
