#HLSrecapMadness 2014: Championship Round

Alright, people.

Here we go: for all the (metaphorical and hypothetical) marbles, I present the final tweets as voted by you, The Internet. You may be upset at me (and rightly so) about suspicious seeding and shenanigans that cast a dark cloud over the first half of the tournament that brings us a final matchup of an 8-seed vs. a 12-seed. I’ll counter by asking why you people eliminated so many worthy tweets in the early rounds.

While the aptly named #HLSrecapMadness is an online popularity contest, it does provide us Twitter degenerates with a distraction during the dark days of winter. But we have the Women’s Basketball Final tomorrow and the Blue-Gold Game on Saturday, so #HLSrecap is again in your near future.

I’ll be back on Wednesday to crown the #HLSrecapMadness winner, present the #DammitPoot Memorial Trophy to our worthy champion, and (foreshadowing!) provide you with some extra incentive for tweeting greatness come football season.
