In our ongoing mission to make it impossible for anyone to get work done this week, I found a 3 part video series on YouTube simply titled: “The Notre Dame-USC Rivalry”
Enjoy!

Your comment is hilarious because I do consider this a week where work is secondary to fretting, psyching up etc.
I am doing my part by not attending this week and sending my son in my place who has a phenomenal win loss record at the stadium.
I do consider the 2005 game the best game I have ever been at, and in hindsight we were probably 10 points weaker than SC that year, so it was a testament to a great effort and the stadium was never louder.
This year we are probably 10 points stronger, so lets blow them out! Go. Irish.
I have a good feeling about this game….I think we’ve finally turned a corner
I cant believe the 4/9 conversion from 05 made it
Into TWO videos. I had to restrain myself from throwing my phone into a wall twice there.
These vids did their job, I sooooo want to destroy SC!
Two comments on Part I (only halfway through):
In the black and white vids, I have no idea which side I am rooting for during the play. Kind of hilarious.
2 – Love the MIDI song that pumps in after Ara’s speech. Amazing
Looking forward to the weekend, you guys!
At least the Bush Push doesn’t actually count.
Yeah, but it still happened and I’m still furious about it. Honestly, the thing I’m MOST upset about during that game is the play BEFORE Bush Push. Ball pops out and flies 9 yards backwards and somehow they put it on the ONE?!??!!? Bush Push should have never have happened if the officials get that call right. Replay would have been a major asset that season.
Indeed. But back in 2005, in non-conference games, the visiting team had the choice of whether to use replay or not. USC chose not to have replay.
Last year we broke the string! This year let’s continue the string up thru, at least, 2025.
GO IRISH!! Beat Condoms!
string? streak? meh, all the same! continue the string!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only game I have left on my PVR from last season is the SC game (2nd half at least). I will definitely be watching that on Friday night to get me even more jacked then I already am for this game. Hughes moving the pile to put us ahead for good still gives me goosebumps. I’ll be cheering so loud from my living room I wonder if anyone from the stadium will ask me to be quite. Go Irish!!!!
Not only have you screwed up work for this week, but how am I supposed to get to sleep tonight after watching that?
Go Irish!
