No Gameday Chat this Weekend

October 3, 2008 by domer.mq

Both Biscuit and I will be on campus, making sure the Indiana State Excise Police settle down a bit and watching Notre Dame shove Stanford’s words back down their throats, so there wont be an official, HLS Gameday Chat tomorrow. Sorry, I hadn’t thought it all through and didn’t have time to set up some sort of guest-host thing.

But hey, use this to your advantage. Instead of chatting with us, every once in a while, during the game, look up from the television and say something, anything at all to your significant other. Reap the rewards and thank us later.

Or, you know, just gameday chat in our regular shoutbox location.

Trey-unequivocally no. KM, welcome. Glad you like MQ’s self-portrait. I just pounded a few Four Horsemen at MBC, and don’t know if I can crash, I am so fired up for tailgating. GOOOOOOO Irish!

Someone that watched this on tv? 3 questions. 1. Was grimes’ almost TD a TD? Why no replay? 2. Same thing on their last TD. Legit? Should it have been reviewed? 3. How many Personal Fouls should Stanford have had? I counted at least 3-jimmy getting tossed after a play, a flagrant face mask they missed, and Harbaugh all over the field with his Asst whipping headsets all over the place.

    1. No, wasn’t even close. His entire foot landed out of bounds.

    2. That one should have been reviewed, but they quick-snapped the XP before the officials could see the play. Hayden said he thought it would have stood, and I tend to agree. He bobbled it after the first foot went down, but it appeared he gained control before the second foot went down.

    3. donno about personals, but this crew(pac-10) really missed a lot that affected stanford.

I don’t know if that picture was intended to be “Harbaugh”, but with the tantrum he threw after that catch interference call, it’s certainly apropos.
