Yeah, I know the economy is hurting and all, but that’s never made a lot of sense to me considering that, at any point in time, there’s only a finite amount of money in the world, so where the hell did it all go?
Oh, well, I could see how shipping sand to a coastal desert resort could get pricey. Keeps washing away, you say? Go figure.

- Oh, and I forgot this week’s Beer of the Week, which is based entirely on Trey’s suggestion. I’ll head out at lunch and see if I can find some.

I know. Given that our field always pays strictly based on merit and ability, it’s shocking, isn’t it?
I usually don’t get too concerned about how much money other people make, but unlike every other person on that list I don’t know anyone who likes Rick Reilly. Simmons, some like some don’t, even I find Whitlock entertaining sometimes but who likes Reilly?
Sweet, I called my beer shot. Now I gotta go out and buy another 6-pack. You guys come down for the Wazzu game, I’ll buy you one of these.
Much worse on the complete waste of money scale are the Dubai World Islands, which was supposed to looked like a Mollweide projection of the Earth and instead due to the fact that sand erodes looks like something you get when a four year old throws sand into a puddle.
