Sometimes, you don’t need to write a lot to say a lot. I’ve seen the trauma and scars that big game disappointments have brought to the fan base. They’re apparent in the optimistic but reserved expressions I’ve read about today’s game. Many would rather stay quiet and bask in the glow of victory only once all doubt’s removed then go out on a limb as a fan. But, what’s the point of fandom if you’re not going to live with the wins from the very outset. If I’m wrong, I’ll have meals for a month with all the crow available, but for today:
FUSC. NOTRE DAME’S GOING TO WIN. BY 2 TOUCHDOWNS. AT LEAST.
I believe…because God shines on the Irish and condemns those sub-humans out west.
I believe…because the football Gods still owe ND a great debt for the Bush Push game.
I believe…because sometimes faith triumphs reason.
I know….because the collective of the Offensive Line and ND’s running backs will be the best players on the field tonight.
I know…because Sam Darnold, the Human Turnover, is up against Shaun Crawford. The Human Turnover.
I know…because God, Country, Notre Dame.
Y’all enjoy your morning/afternoon. See you tonight. – Moons
