2016 NFL Draft Preview: Will Fuller

April 28, 2016 by SupermanTDJesus

WelcFuller TRack meetome loyal sons and daughters to another special presentation of HLS Videos with ya boi, SupermanTDJesus! Let’s skip the formalities at this point, and get straight to the good stuff, shall we?

We’re starting closing out the week of Notre Dame players expected to be taken in the Draft this afternoon with easily the most explosive offensive player Notre Dame has seen since Golden Tate, everyone’s favorite son Will Fuller.

Much was made about Fuller’s comments during the season about staying for his senior year and not leaving Notre Dame without his degree, and yet here we are. College kids change their mind? WHAAAAAT?! In all honesty, no one should harbor any form of resentment or negative judgement against Fuller’s decision to leave. In light of Jaylon Smith’s horrific knee injury in the Fiesta Bowl again Ohio State, it’s easy to imagine the idea of losing draft value due to injury crossing Fuller’s mind. He made the right choice, both for his future, and for his bank account yo cuz this dude ’bout to get PAID!

When it comes to Fuller, I say, “Stats shmats, just turn on the tape and try to keep up!” The man’s speed was nothing short of incredible, and although he could use some work getting those hands to be more of a sure thing, he will likely go in the first two rounds of the 2016 Draft. Whichever team walks away with Will Fuller just got infinitely more explosive, no question there.

Here’s a funny story: Back when I was still working over at The Subway Domer’s blog site, he asked me to do a quick evaluation on a few players for the then-incoming recruiting class. Will Fuller was one of my players, and I projected him to never see playing time and fade away into the depth chart of oblivion. Mad I’m so glad I was that wrong. I hope he reads this one day so I can know he laughed at my stupidity.

On to the video!
