So here we are. Late in a season with national championship aspirations on the line. Standing in the way of another glorious run to immortality sits the Notre Dame Waiting List – Boston College. History will tell you one thing. Your heart another. Your whiskey bottle yet a third. Your spouse/significant other yet a fourth. Who am I kidding. Notre Dame Football is all of our mistress, and we’ll follow her blindly. Get your picks in!
- Fill out this form (do not post your predictions in the comments section of this blog post)
- Your score predictions and weekly prop are each good for one point, with bonus points for getting the score exactly right.
- The quote section is optional…but like how washing your hands after going to the bathroom is “optional.” Sure, you can skip it, but on the inside you know what you’ve done, and you are a terrible individual for having done so.
Last Game’s Best Quotes: We as a collective group really phoned in our commentary. The combination of Wake Forest and heightened expectations led to some horribly, terribly wrong predictions (we were smart enough to know ND would win). We all need to do better. The team. Our picks. Our commentary…with one exception, and we’ll get to you very shortly.

Does anyone actually read these? Also, if a Demon Deacon gets murdered in a Wake Forest, and 80K plus fans are there to cheer, does it make a sound or are its dying breaths drowned out by the band?
I read these things. (whispers: I may be the only one) Make them entertaining! NO points.
Pat R:
I will be eating Mexican food with a woman and taking updates from my little brother.
My favorite part of this is how you specified you will be eating…with a woman. No points though because dear gawd man, was this a date? Did you know here ahead of time? If you did not know her…and this was a date…and you took her to Mexican, you are a monster.

Well, we have reached the final home game of the year, which means we are fast approaching my least favorite time of year: the time of year where I cannot attend Notre Dame football games. What’s worse, I only have one year of football left as an undergrad after this game. It sure goes fast. Oh, right. We’re playing Wake Forest. Uh, we’ll win. Go Irish!
Very excited we have current students reading! You’re right, it goes by verrrrrrry fast my man. Look at that senior schedule NOW. Make plans to travel to as many games as you can. You’ll regret it if you don’t. I’ll save your points for senior year though. Plus, I secretly hate you for getting to be a student in the BK era. (Aside: I am terrible at keeping secrets)
Biscuit:
See? See how I turned their name into an ND-centric thing? That’s called WRITING folks. Learn it. I’m literally not going to read anything about Wake Forest. Not a Thing. And I’m going to nail it. ND Wins 35-21. BANKED!
So much to learn from you. Not reading anything about Wake Forest was the smartest thing you ever did. Points!
Hugeirishfan:
The Irish, in the ‘Wake’ of a tough season- need to see the ‘Tree’ through this ‘Forest’. They must ‘Will’ themselves whether their ‘Prosise’ or not. It’s a special ‘Day’. And to remain in the ‘Chase’- we must remain calm, Irish on – and win with ‘Grace’.
Ummmm…..you, sir, are a hero! Puns galore will always get you Points!
Last Games’s Results:
We live in a sad world where Irish Elvis who probably made his selections while roasting a chicken for Mrs. Irish Elvis and changing the diaper of Irish Lisa Marie while blindly pressing buttons was the only one who managed to pull out a 3 point week. Hopefully next week the only thing needing a diaper change will be Boston College’s offense.

Not much has changed up top. Time’s running out for anyone to make a run at @BrendanMcP. Shoutout to Davie Dave who believes Tex’s pseudo-retirement is to blame for his demise.
