#CostumeGameDay Playlist – Week 12

by

I’m sure glad that all my studying paid off last weekend. The Fighting Irish were able to send the Demon Deacons crying home. Despite all my studying I did, I was unable to really figure out what a Demon Deacon really is…the only thing certain is that their coach is a baby. A couple of outstanding things occurred on Saturday:

  1. Josh Adams destroyed the Notre Dame Football school record with a 98-yard run to score a touchdown. He is also tied for the longest run in FBS history by a freshman.
  2. The senior class became the “all-time winningest class in terms of home games with 21 wins.”

I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate @TheElPadre on winning Week 11’s #CostumeGameDay contest.

This week is the Shamrock Series and Notre Dame will be facing Boston College at the Historic Fenway Park. Check back in on Saturday for my costume and score prediction! Go Irish!

Here is Week 12’s Teaser:

1. Lucky – Britney Spears
“She’s so lucky, she’s a star.”

2. I’m Shipping Up to Boston – Dropkick Murphys
“Climbing up the top sails, I lost my leg. I’m shipping up to Boston.”

3. Luck Be A Lady Tonight – Frank Sinatra
“Never get out of my sight. Stick with me baby.”

4. Get Lucky – Daft Punk ft. Pharrell Williams
“I’m up all night to get lucky.”

5. Green Eyed Lady – Sugarloaf
“Green eyed lady, lovely lady. Strolling slowly towards the sun.”

6. Some Guys Have All the Luck – Rod Stewart
“Some guys have all the luck. Some guys have all the pain. Some guys get all the breaks.”

Bonus Song:

The Time is Now (You Can’t See Me) – John Cena
“In case you forgot or fell off I’m still hot – knock your shell off.”

I’m a subway alumna who lives in sunny California. Over the years, I learned that every person has unique talents to celebrate and that we are all special in our own way. In the rare instances that I am not cheering for Notre Dame or reading about Notre Dame, I am an avid gamer and wine lover. I love comics and collecting Funko Pop! figures. My greatest wish is to be turned into a Funko Pop! figure modeled after one of my crazy costumes.
