This week, I have been stuck in training for the new job, severely limiting my time and access to the wide world of college football. Thankfully, it appeared to be quite a dead week for the most part.
However, talk of playoff expansion caught my attention. I was reminded that, while on KVCE, I had promised that I would outline my solution to the college football playoffs as well as conference alignment. This episode, I deliver.

The Booze
Going margaritas y’all. If you want to make fresh (highly suggested), go 3-2-1:
- 3 parts blanco/silver Tequila
- 2 parts Triple Sec
- 1 part lime juice
I recommend using the 1.5 oz side of a jigger for measuring your parts as that will let you use a whole lime, juiced, for your 1 part of lime. I failed to mention this on the episode, but that will make two drinks so you can share or give yourself a double.

One of the wife’s larger clients is a local winery. They have several events during the summer and fall. For 20 something a person you get dinner and live music with wine and beer for purchase. My drink this Saturday night will be sweet red wine as I rock out to what will likely be some 80’s hair band music. Cheers!
