Rather than focus on Saturday night, it is probably appropriate to talk about the Sunday morning I spent feeling shame over my behavior. As I mentioned, you never want to watch a Notre Dame game at a friend’s home — with children, and dogs, and liquor, and none of them are Notre Dame fans.

I drank the liquor, kicked the dog, and swore in front of their children. Probably none of that was as confusing as trying to explain #HLSrecap while drunk on gin. “No really, guys. The coach’s nipples. It’s a THING. YOU HAVE TO WATCH! Someone get me Nina’s number….”

So Sunday morning was tough. Add to that the loss to Stanford and the relegation to some lame bowl game played in a city no one wants to visit, and all I was left with was looking forward to #HLSrecap. You guys did not disappoint.

@OptimisticDomer — a great follow! This guy is really hitting his stride as the football season comes to an end. Hope he’s gonna be around for basketball season.
