That was my whole point. If the Cowboys get to play the giants without Justin Tuck, it means they have a much greater chance of not seeing their QB get dismantled.
So I can’t help but get a little perked up when someone starts hatin on my Cowboys, but what you have done, sir is absolutely set yourself up for some massive fact beatdowns. FIRST of all, in Justin’s career, he has played in 12 games against America’s team and he has fairly decent numbers. However, when you have a large sampl set, likelihood is there that your stats will also be high. In those 12 games, Tuck only has 6 total sacks. Now even I can do THAT math…that’s 1/2 sack per game. So if he stays on his average he’ll get 1 sack this year at the expense of the Cowboys. Now, let’s take a deeper dive into WHEN those sacks occured. 2012: 0, 2011:1, 2010: 0, 2009(romo’s 1st yr): 0, 2008: 3, 2007: 1. Wow, one majorly out of the ordinary year, a couple a number of years ago, then really nothing. Looks to me like the Cowboys have figured him out.

Ok, let’s take a step back here for just a second.
I’m a Cowboys fan.
I was making a joke that with the joke of an offensive line we’re about to put on the field (no seriously, we’re talking about moving Doug Free to guard). I was also poking fun at the idea that Justin Tuck (who I happen to hold in high regard, aside from the fact that he plays for evil) missing the season opener could have a large fantasy impact on Romo’s year.
Apparently it was a terrible joke.
For that mistake, I will have a beer and shake my head in disappointment.

I have to go with Golden Tate, if only because as a Packers fan, I’m not over the emotional confusion of last year’s MNF disputed call controversy. How can I be upset when Golden gets a touchdown? How can I NOT be upset when Pete Carroll benefits from a bad call?
This is why I should really just stick to college football.
But it’s college football that makes us feel these emotions in the first place. We really love torture ourselves.
