I’ve censored the following, in protest of a bill that gives any corporation and the US government the power to censor the internet–a bill that could pass THIS WEEK. To see the uncensored text, and to stop internet censorship, visit: http://americancensorship.org/posts/10346/uncensor

im with you 100% on this, but its still strange to see it on this forum
Why? We’re the very sort of site that would be killed by this legislation. We’d either have to shut down everything and anything that involved comments/contributions from readers, or shut the site down.
Matt Q.-The Government does not want opposing opinions expressed on any subject.
Trey-This is an open forum (for now) so this is not strange at all. It is a wake up call. Be afraid, be very afraid of what is being planned for this country and the Bill of Rights.
Sadly, this is one of several bills being debated and voted on right now that infringe on our freedom. See NDAA. I’ll get off my soapbox now.
This is a wake up call concerning the ever growing infringement by the Federal Governement under the new regime. The ultimate destruction of the Bill of Rights is not as prepnderous as this sounds. It’s about power and control period. The peolple have and they (Governemnt) want it. The denial of your basic right of expression is going to be denied. KYNDFAN needs to stay on the soapbox and I would advise all the rest of you to do the same, As radical as it sounds, the Wolf is at the door and he will knock it down before you realize what has happened. And this censorship of your right to Free Speech is not the only assault that is occuring. ObamaCare, attacks on the Second Amendment, and others are in route, depriving you of any personal freedoms and decision making capabilities.
I was reffering to this site, which is intended mainly for ND talk. I am very vocal about individual liberty elsewhere. Including the local republican party where I am currently a member of the board. Sadly, I have to debate and argue with them on a regular basis.
KYNDFAN-I hear you. The blame for this growing censorship of virtually everthing is daunting and frightening. Both party’s are responsible; more so with the Democrat mob. Over hear we have to be careful not to ‘offend’ someone while they offend us daily with mortar and small arms attacks. Censorship at its fines…
Keep up your fight. Stay safe.
Again, Im on board. Im just surprised to see it such an issue on this, a non-political site.
The existence of this non political site is being threatened by this bill.
