Here’s the hint: while watching this game, you might not know if it’s day or night.

Go Irish!

Hang it up fellas. Season is over. I fucking hate Notre Dame.

If Gary Gray had any decency he’d never put another Notre Dame jersey on. And he should walk home.

I owe you an apology – I was in no kind of mental state to be on the internet last night. My bad.

Gray was awful. Can’t blame him for the play tar got them inside the 20, though — that was a team fuckup.

Were there only six in coverage (four rushing and a LB spy)? They just let that clown run free.

But back to Gray — he now has the target on his back. Imagine when a real QB and receivers face him.

Tonight is the night most of us will look back on and say “this is when I knew Brian Kelly would never succeed at Notre Dame.”

And those who didn’t cone to that conclusion tonigh did so earlier.

No one can blame Kelly for this. Granted, he should have run the ball on the one drive. But other than that, our players failed us.

Also, God is clearly Protestant because he HATES Notre Dame.

Anyone who prays to Mary is a loser. Christ could not give a shit about the Irish. Maybe we stop the prayers, because Mary and the Lord could give a shit about the Irish, Seriously I am done with prayer on this one it is pointless

You know, you CAN rip this team as mercilessly as they deserve without resorting to blasphemy. Show some skill 😉

Give it a rest. This was not Kelly’s fault.

I do not know where else to go. HLS has been my bastion on Irish Football for the last 5 years. I cannot do it any more. Michigan 80 yards with 30 seconds who would have thought. I am tired and I am done. I cannot do this anymore. I have so much shit going on in my life and I have better things to do then watch this team give yet another game away to inferior talent. What the fuck happened to our defence in the second half? I will see you guys next year

What a bunch of fucking pussies. Fuck Notre Dame. It’s time to start rooting for Northern
    Illinois.

    Hey,

At least the world ends in 2012 and we won’t have to worry about Notre Dame embarrassing themselves and the tradition we all hold so dear for much longer.

I just wish to God I wasn’t raised a Notre Dame fan. I feel like Job from the Bible.

Gary Gray truly had the game from hell. I don’t know what happened to him.

However, without all the other lamebrain mistakes, the game doesn’t come down to one guy.

How does Tommy Rees just lose the ball on that pass play in the red zone? How does Michigan fumble on our one yard line (great play by our front seven) and the ball bounces right to Robinson and he waltzes in? How do we completely lose a guy on a Hail Mary play? Why do we have a positive genius for making the absolute worst play at the absolute worst time, while playing well the rest of the time?

      September 10, 2011 at 11:31 pm

I dunno. Yeah there were some unexplainable mistakes but Gray gave them 21 points.

Michigan is our daddy. Michigan State is going to beat the balls off of us. Then Pitt. We might beat Purdue I hope.

Purdue lost to Rice today. We can’t possibly lose to them, can we?

What is really sad about this is that this loss will look awful at the end of the year when Michigan’s final record will be something like 6-6.

This one was as bad as it gets. I don’t think I’ve ever been this down. Maybe with Faust. I want to puke.

We’ve been terrible since the Clinton administration.

I’m seriously considering having my future follow a different team. They deserve better than Notre Dame.

Can we skip the political comments? I’ve already seen a pro-lifer make a similar comment on another ND blog. I could go on and on about my political beliefs, but that would only generate more anger.

Tonight, if we argue, let’s make it about the play of our secondary, the ball slipping out of Tommy Rees’ hand, the ball bouncing into Denard Robinson’s hand, and other inexplicable oddities.

Tonight is a night when ND folks need to stick together.
