While we typically reserve a special place in our hate for Michigan, we do, from time to time, come across a UM fan we actually like tolerate. See: DTK.
Kidding DTK!
Anyway, Mike from The Michigan Man Podcast is another such Wolverine fan, and he was kind enough to invite me to help preview the game on his podcast this week. Given his cordial invite and conversation, I remained very civil and kept the hate boiling just below the surface. Mike also makes me feel like I’m talking to the dude that does all the movie promos – “In a world where you never know what’s real…” – and that’s just awesome.

Given that Monday was my first podcast appearance, that I was running on about 4 hours sleep having just returned to LA from The Bend late the night before, and still hungover from Saturday, I think I acquitted myself fairly well. You won’t hear much new or different, but go take a listen anyway and let me know how I did.
You can find the podcast here on the site’s homepage or here on the iTunes page, or just hop on to iTunes if you’re of the Apple persuasion and do a search.
Thanks again to Mike for having me – good guy with a solid knowledge of UM Football and a really high quality product. Best of luck to him, horrible luck to his team and scumbag coach.
And since he cut me off at the very end with my parting sentiment, I’ll put it here: GO IRISH! BEAT THE SKUNKBEARS!!!!!

One clarification listening back on what I said: When I said Teo ‘was hidden’ or didn’t produce as much, I meant it relative to expectations. Same thing with Calabrese and my praise there. I thought Teo didn’t perform up to what we expect from him, and I thought Calabrese was better than advertised….
I edited the post so the link around that pic isn’t there anymore. I know how flickr embed codes scare and confuse you.
flickr should be renamed suckr
Two things:
1. I’m really impressed you got through the whole podcast without saying DickRod.
2. Your voice is a LOT deeper than I expected. Kidding, love ya big guy.
Biscuit has a voice made for the internet.
Trippy show, it was Mr. Rogers with a Metal Mulisha house band. That dude has a career at NPR waiting for him whenever he wants it. One question–is it Biscuit or the “the Biscuit”?
Ha, thanks SDI. I think.
Formal name is The Biscuit, but Biscuit is fine for short. Bisquick is a fine derivative, but never Bisquit, cuz I don’t quit yo!
Great job, buddy. Shoot, if more Mich fans were like that guy and less like DTK, i might be able to stomach the Skunkbear program. He seemed really respectful, friendly, & levelheaded.
