Because half the USC football team will be looking for new places to live this week, as USC Compliance is actually going to check to ensure that they’re not living in ill-gotten housing, working fake-ass jobs, and driving ill-gotten rides.
A notice posted in multiple locations around USC athletics headquarters Heritage Hall reminds players to bring current copies of their housing lease, car-related data and summer and academic year employment information to the meetings.
Two USC wide receivers were seen moving their stuff, VERY quickly, this afternoon. When asked why they were leaving a pimped out multi-million dollar 3-bedroom condo on a posh Manhattan Beach street just 3 blocks from the water to move to a shared 10X10 dorm room on campus, the guys indicated that they wanted to be closer to campus as part of Coach Kiffin’s ‘new culture’.
The first of the meetings — for wide receivers, tight ends and offensive linemen — was scheduled for Tuesday morning in the Heritage Hall auditorium.
Such a CRAZY coincidence!
Can’t wait to see the rash of trade-ins (Escalades for Cavaliers!) start up this week as well….
So Sad…bye bye Escalade!
And helLO CAVALIER!
Note: I have no source on anyone at USC moving or trading in any cars. While I expect someone to change something or to get busted given their track record, I have no knowledge of anything transpiring today. I am mocking them.

Any chance that the WRs clearing out of the condo was caught on video? That would be hilarious! Where’s YouTube when you need it! 🙂

Two words, Kiffin and Garrett. This will not end well for Tommy Trojan. I can’t imagine how deep, the powers that be at USC, must have their heads burried in some beach sand, not to see what’s coming.

this makes my heart skip a beat….

What’s the source on the two wide receivers moving their stuff?
The Biscuit
Me making it up as a joke. Sorry, thought it was pretty obvious – sometimes tough to tell what will translate online…
borromini
Ah…a most cruel joke…I shall now end my youtube search!
Good night!

Sorry about that borro, sometimes I just assume that my snarkiness comes through. I added a note at the end to clarify.
borromini
No problem…I had a good laugh…keep in min that you probably can succeed with this veiled snarkiness every April 1st. 🙂

Whats sad is that doing this would solve 98% of U$C’s ‘institutional control’ problems, but theyre so stupidly stubborn that theyve never crossed any line and that we’re all just haters to expect them to play by the same rules as all of us lesser institutions.
Brad
Stupidly stubborn? I don’t know about that. I just talked to AD Garrett, and he thinks you only said that cause you’re jealous. Totally.
He then proceeded to tell me that USC is Ta RAXXORS and that his team will PWN you.
trey
😉
Of course, I AM jealous of their titles & bowl wins, who wouldnt? But I thank the Lord that ND will NEVER stoop to their lvl
The Biscuit
you can be jealous of their recent success, but dont forget that ND owned USC for a decade prior to their latest run of dominance. there’s no need to be jealous overall – we’re on the same level as USC: one of the top programs ever.
TheNDleprechaun
Damn, you beat me to this Biscuit haha I was going to post the hilarious picture ESPN ran of the flyer at Heritage Hall because it pretty much speaks for itself. I’m currently living in Laguna, and I plan on heading over to the Cal Southern Campus on Friday to snoop around and see if I can get any good pics. Any ideas for a sign that I could hold up in front of the tommy the trojan statue?

I got the snarkiness Biz…don’t you worry…although went I was reading that sentence I was looking for a “link” but you didn’t fail with the “disclaimer” at the end of the piece…
