Welcome to the family, Matthias.
Matthias, a fairly raw athlete that played soccer most of his life, has a lot of upside. This is clearly one of those guys where the coaching staff sees tons of raw ability (4.5 fake 40 time) and a lot of upside.
Mr. Farley chose ND over UNC and Wisconsin, among others.
The 6’1″, 185 pound receiver will most likely line up at CB for ND. But we all know that coach could end up using him pretty much anywhere.
Good choice, Matthias.
With this pick-up, the class is starting to gain momentum. I think we’ll see a few more commits over the summer. Go Irish.

Wasn’t Shane Walton a soccer convert. Let’s hope he’s as successful.

Can he punt?

Shane Walton was a convert, but moved over much later, while at ND.
Punting a football is way specialized – not much transfer from soccer, but we may have that kid that’s way smart and can graduate early to push Turk.
