Really. God loves me. I mean, he’s not into the lying, the cheating, the presiding over the most arrests ever (25) in a 4 year period. None of that. But really, God told me to coach you. And he told me to bail on my family and that my health will be just fine. He also told me to play Blackjack soon – said he’d hook me up. You want to go to Vegas?

If this true then Urban Liar is even more of an ass$%^e then I thought. In this day and age of separation of church and state, Liar has reached a new low. However, if this kid is willing to buy this crap then maybe he belongs at Florida. As a Catholic I am sad to say that God has never given me a direct commandment. Maybe if I believed more, I could be more like Urban Liar.

Man I hate waiting for signing day. I hope that Kelly has told some kids that he would die for them. Just kidding. I get the sense our staff is doing a good job, what do you guys think?

If you compare this class to Weis’ first, there’s literally no comparison. But there are 2 factors there – the outoing guy (Weis) now is much better than the outgoing guy then (TY). In 2 ways. First, Weis had a good class together already. Secondly, Weis tried to help keep them together. Ty had a weak class when the transition happened, and he did nothing to help. Also, BK got in early and hit the ground running. Weis had a Super Bowl to win. So there are some built-in advantages this time around, but thus far I think Kelly has done a good job of keeping guys in the fold. He’s had some weird position perspectives (Barr as a WR? When he wants to play S and we NEED Safeties? Weird) but he’s also seemed flexible and open. He needs to land James and Barr and keep the other guys on board, and this will be a great haul considering it’s a transition year.
