“I think dead is too strong a word,” he said.
He made it clear to me that his goal is to get the best teams to play UConn at RENTSCHLER FIELD in East Hartford.
Seems having Tennessee and now Michigan on the schedule can change things but has Hathaway completely changed his position on a series with ND?
Interesting. ND AD Swarbrick has expressed that there were some series from the previous AD’s reign that he didn’t particularly love. And UConn’s probably feeling pretty good about their “national exposure” now with home-and-homes with Michigan (sucks!) and Tennessee. Maybe everyone’s finding a way to get out of this one.

I’ll take dumping this series, especially if we replace it with a home and home with a top quality matchup (along the lines of the Oklahoma series set for 2012).
Swarbrick is right on. Get rid of the garbage that White left us with. Good riddance to Ty, good riddance to White. Clean the whole mess out quick!
“get the best teams to play UConn”…what a joke.
