Purdue week came to an end much like the end of a Russian Literature thesis defense, but with less inventive cheering or t-shirts. And The Bear’s panzer-like rush over the rest of the field just keeps chugging along. Help us, Bad Kermit. You’re our only hope.

The Biscuit
I saw The Bear this past weekend and he said that he gets 30 points for picking an opponent over ND. what’s up with that? you should 10 only. i know there’s the negative penalty of -50 if you pick wrong, but the +30 is just an incentive to keep on picking against us. i vote for a change in the rules to +10 like every other game if you pick ND’s opponent, and keep the -50 if you’re wrong (traitor penalty).

That’s the way it’s been since we started the site. No changing the rules in the middle of the season. We’ll consider a rules change after the season. If Bear wants to sell his soul, that’s his prerogative.

Fine. But you suck.
The Bear
My strategy goes like this: I am usually wrong in pick ’ems, therefore, if I pick ND to lose, I should be wrong and they will win. Unfortunately, I have not been wrong much this year.
