As we mentioned on the Notre Dame/Boston College recap show, the holiday season is here meaning that it’s time to adjust the regular podcasting schedule. As such, we are bumping the usual Wednesday/Thursday schedule up a day, with the Picks podcast tonight and the Sim on Wednesday night.
Typically, this wouldn’t necessitate a full post; however, with both Christmas and New Year’s landing in the middle of the week some advanced planning needed to go down. After all, Shane, Eddie, and I all have lives and family to attend to!
Plus, if you’ve paid attention to our handy Notre Dame Bowl Tie-In guide, you will know that, no matter what, Notre Dame will be playing on December 28th. This unusual moment of bowl clarity has allowed us to get everything planned out well in advance this season.
With that being said, here’s the schedule for the holidays and bowl season for the live recordings of the HLS Podcast on our Twitch Channel (start times at 9 PM CT/10 PM ET unless noted otherwise, podcasts hit feed next day):
|@ Stanford||Tues, Nov 26||Wed, Nov 27||Sun, Dec 1|
|Conference Championship||Wed, Dec 4||Mon, Dec 9|
|Army/Navy||Sat, Dec 14|
Via Tex's Extra Life
|Bowl Week 1||Wed, Dec 18|
|Bowl Week 2 (ND Bowl)||Mon, Dec 23||Thur, Dec 26||Sat, Dec 28
|Bowl Week 3||Sun, Dec 29|
|National Championship||Wed, Jan 8||Thurs, Jan 9||Mon, Jan 13
Yes, we will be taking some much needed time off. Beyond just lives and family, I also have Extra Life to attend to and I will fill some of those blank spots with my final fundraising streams for the year.
Speaking of Extra Life, that’s why the Army/Navy pick is listed as “if needed”. Those that have listened to the picks pod know that Eddie and I have a side-bet for charity going, with the worst record on the picks pod donating $100 to my campaign. Last year it came down to this game, so if that happens again, Eddie will hop on my marathon stream before kickoff and we will get said pick in.
If you haven’t joined our shenanigans on Twitch, now is the perfect time. Go give our channel a follow and be sure to chime in via chat, bits, or audience triggered drops. And make sure you subscribe to the show as well via Apple Podcasts (leave a review, we’ll read it on the show!), Spotify, or where ever you get your podcasts feeds at. You can also leave us a voicemail, so feel free to sound off about ND, College Football, or even beans in chili (you are wrong by the way).
