Today’s performance was just awful. Yes, the weather had a lot to do with it. But the offensive line is getting zero push on runs. The receivers are dropping balls. The center is grounding snaps. The play calling is highly questionable. We don’t relive it all in this week’s #HLSRecap. But there’s enough here to give you, dear reader, a flavor of what this game was like. (That flavor is disgusting.)
Someday, I’ll link to this recap to remind everyone about the lowest point in Brian Kelly’s tenure at Notre Dame. It will be one of those “look how far we’ve come” moments. But that day will not be any time soon.
