#HLSrecap Top 25, brought to you weekly during college football season.

Good morning! Each week, Her Loyal Sons publishes the #HLSRecap, a collection of the best tweets that occur during Notre Dame football games. We’ve had 573 unique contributors to the recap this year, but we’ve identified 25 that stand head and shoulders above the rest.  This Top 25 list is a “must follow” if you’re interested in supplementing your game-watching experience.

Our Boston College recap was tense. The Irish committed five turnovers in a game they were favored to win by almost 17 points. So when the 19-3 score was cut to 19-16 with about a minute of gametime left, Notre Dame fans were understandably, uh, passionate about the turn of events.

Before we unveil our newest Top 25, here are some stats about our most recent game summary:

  • 284 tweets – Our recap is 25 percent bigger than last week!
  • 161 total contributors – Our biggest collection of unique voices yet. Thank you!
  • 53 new contributors – These tweeters had their work featured in our recap for the first time this year. Welcome to all of them.

Finally, a reminder of how we keep score (because what good is having a recap without awarding arbitrary points?):

  • 1 point for each tweet featured in the #HLSRecap
  • 0.5 points for each tweet of yours that is RT’ed or quoted, giving credit for the alley & oop (the exception is if the original tweet is already included in the recap. Then it’s 1 point.)
  • An arbitrary amount of T.R.O.L.L. points (The Ranking Of the Leprechaun Legion) handed out by the man that started this monster, @Irish Elvis.

Elvis wishes you all a Happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful that he has taken off today to T.R.O.L.L. all of us.

One more week! Finish strong everyone. If you want to know your ranking, tweet at me.
