RECRUITING
- Eric Cuffee, a four-star CB from the class of 2016, has an offer from Notre Dame and plans to visit the university before he makes his decision. The Texan says he’s in no rush to commit. (Scout)
- Dontavious Jackson said he’ll wait until spring to create a “cut-down” list. The linebacker from Texas has offers from 39 schools. Notre Dame is interested, but has not offered. (Scout)
- Anthony Long, a three-star defensive end from Pennsylvania, has picked up offers recently from Wake Forest and Virginia Tech. Notre Dame is reportedly interested, although no offer has been made (Blue & Gold Illustrated)
- Georgia will be hosting four-star WR Tre Nixon for a second time. The Florida athlete, in the class of 2016, has an offer from Notre Dame. (Scout)
- Curtis Robinson, a four-star linebacker from California, had a “perfect” visit to Notre Dame. He is about to graduate from the same school as Joe Schmidt did. (Iri$h247)
- Lindell Stone, a four-star QB from Virginia, was impressed with the coaches and facilities at Florida. Notre Dame has shown interest in the 2017 graduate, but no offer has been made. (Scout)
- Four schools are doggedly pursuing A.J. Taylor, a four-star WR from the class of 2016. Taylor has drawn interest from Notre Dame, but the university hasn’t offered. ($cout)
- Ohio State is aggressively pursuing 2016 QB Tristen Wallace, who recently de-committed from Texas Tech. Notre Dame has shown interest in the #7 overall QB, but not offered. (Scout)
