In reply to nad. Okay, I'll bite. The allies defeated the nazi menace on the backs of American industry and Soviet dead and some dreadful German strategy. The Japanese were doomed almost from the start and Yamamoto knew that. I'll agree with you that ND has a leadership problem, but I don't think multiple screenings of Patton are not the solution.

the allies won ww2 with eisenhower, bradley, churchill, fdr, patton, montgomery et al; the axis powers lost with hitler, rommel, yamamoto, et. al. what was the difference? smarts, determination, leadership, humility, flexibility. since 88, n.d. had not had any leaders like the allies had nor the traits that the alliees demonstrated. n.d still operates under the neville chamberlain philosophy, ie, “it will be ok”. the entire campus at n.d. needs to watch the movie patton every night for a month.

Louisville has a duel threat, true freshman QB that I’m afraid we will make look like an all American next week. They’re driven. They have a swagger about them. Coming into the season(and continuing until the Navy game) I thought ND would beat them by 14 or so. I honestly think that could be flipped now. I’m going to hope for the best and be prepared for the worst. No expectations from here on out. I suggest everyone else do the same. For the sake of your health.
