I agree with the EG point.  He was bad in lots of the games he played (Purdue, Michigan, Stanford, Bama) and just OK in lots of others (MSU, Pitt--really bad til the end, USC, and BC).  We actually scored less points per game than the year before with a very bad Tommy at QB and a much worse D that left the O on the sidelines alot.  This entire season hinges on EG&#039;s development and the Bama game was a big dissappointment on that front as he had more than a month to prep and was no better.  I think ND fans are just so hungry for a good QB and so afraid of going back to Tommy that they have given EG a free pass.]]></description>

I was a Tommy booster too, but the differences are too striking. Everett will be one of the best players in the country this year.]]></description>
