One of the original selling points to the ND-NBC contract was that all home games would start mid-afternoon. Now it seems that’s no longer a good thing. As for me however, living a three hour drive away, starting home late is not necessarily a safe, or comfortable thing.

No way my six-year-old son, who will sit and watch a 3.5 hour football game with me with no trouble at all, is going to be able to stay up that late. FIVE in one season? When it was Michigan and USC, I was on board, but Purdue? It’s a running joke how boring it is to watch Purdue play, and now we’re supposed to stay up to do it? Too many night games in one season, IMO.
