We have more than enough sights and magic on campus, and with the “new” stadium starting in 2017, let’s stay home and give more regular people as well as loyal alums (’67) the chance to experience Notre Dame. Nothing beats being at home. The expanded recruiting opportunities/more fan exposure arguments do not resonate.

It is a gimmick. We’ve done it. Now move on. In fact, let;’s forget the Shamrock series altogether and bring a 7th game to ND so alumni have an additional chance to come back to ND.
