As a pro with potential, he can afford to sit out for as long as he needs to (see: Todd Gurley) before getting on the field as a pro. If he’s not fully healthy until October or November, that doesn’t help his draft stock playing his senior year at ND. I felt so bad seeing him get hurt, he didn’t deserve to go out at ND like that.
On a related note, I just saw that he had reconstructive surgery, but has is been announced how bad the injury is?
Also, thanks for the great work you guys have done this year, I know it’s been a tough transitional time for this site, but it’s always been one of my favorites and I hope you guys and gals keep it up!
