I've commented on here before but mainly during football season. I have family in South Bend but grew up in central Kentucky and went to UK. So I spend falls cheering on ND and winters and March rooting for UK. They never play in football and rarely meet in basketball so this usually works out. I am rooting for UK tonight but still follow this site on twitter, which is how I ended up here.
Anyway, I agree that ND looks like one of the most dangerous teams left for UK to face. Arizona would be a tough game because of personnel but ND is the only team left with a style of play that could give UK trouble. Look to the Georgia game for your blueprint for the win. The one thing ND will have trouble with is getting the bigs out of the lane the way Georgia did. I'm also not convinced ND's defense is as good as Georgia. But ND more than makes up for that with its shooting and passing. If ND tries to get into a high scoring game, that will be a mistake. Brey would be smart to run some of that "slow burn" offense from a few years back. But it wouldhave to be strategically to slow down UK. ND can't run it the whole game or it gives up its biggest advantage, which is making those big runs on offense like it did to put away Wichita St.
I'm looking forward to it and hope it's a good game.
