Look above at the image of the Huskies someone else posted. That is taunting. I stated a fact that you lost tremendously last night. A fact. No taunt. On the other hand…the content of this entire ‘blog’ is very insulting and condascending towards Geno. Proud to defend him and proud of our ladies. And proud we won. Geno Auriemma is not only an inspirational coach, but a magnificent person. I’ve had the pleasure of conversing with him at many chairty functions. My daughter, who is a short teenager with no interest in basketball, told Geno that she plays field hockey. In her brief conversation with him, she felt as if her mission in field hockey was just as important and special than a basketball championship. Why do many coaches and players despise Uconn? Jealousy, plain old jealousy.
By the way—-you Irish L-O-S-T tonight. Big time. And Geno went out of his way to still praise your angry team. That, is real class. Have a great day.
