The Communion Breakfast at the Orange County Marriot ( or was it the Hyatt) was a tradition on Sunday morning after the Sat. game..win or lose. Fortunately, that year was a ND Victory.
My recollection of Andre was that he was indeed a Gentleman, and was a total pleasure to be around. I felt so bad when we heard the news that he had passed away. Your article
was the greatest tribute you could have given him….stories that showed the love and
affection that his team mates had for him. I have reprinted the story and will treasure re-
reading it as time goes on. Young TJ is the finest credit that Andre has done for Notre Dame. May he go on to greater glory and success as he leaves Notre Dame…..a better place for having him as a Student….and as a warrior!
