During the Matt Mulvey interview he mentioned that if Harrison had returned it just a few yards instead of going down on the 1 yard line, that Matt had been included in the Victory Formation group for that game (Although I doubt it was as the QB but I didn’t ask). He appears to harbor some frustration over missing the chance as a SoCal native to be on the field for the final snap that evening when the Trojan 8 game winning streak was snapped.

I mention on the podcast as well that I believe that 2011 game was the beginning of a stretch of dominance in this series for the Irish. Can’t wait to take down USC again Saturday night to make it 3 of the last 4.
