I won’t bless the gatorade, lest we run into a re-Baptism issue with our good Catholic coach. And let’s not make him a saint too quickly, since the first qualification for consideration is death. We’ll start with a Pep Rally for The Lord on Sunday morning, and then I’ll be blessing non-stop until kickoff…and praying every minute after that.

We all know that unclean spirits and demons cannot enter across a sacred threshold, so I would think that doing so would ensure our red zone defense remains the dominating force it has been all year.

Also, I think a blessing on the bucket of Gatorade should be made. Once that thing is poured upon CBK, he will forever be cleansed and purified. Ready for the rest of his legacy as a near-saint in this program
