You will kindly note that I accurately predicted the seven touchdowns. However our Brindza lad took the three points I assigned to Wake Forest and applied them to our score. Interestingly enough, the touchdown that would have seen the Irish score at 35 was an ill-fated throw from Golson to Eifert. But such was not to be, and I shan’t quibble with 38-0. I will now apply all my powers of prayer and mild clairvoyance to fighting the Great Satan of USC.

In reply to Davie Dave 40. Yes, but in our metaphorical church, Holtz served as a priest first, and May did not. In that case, Holtz was an exorcist before he became a priest and therefore has the power to cast out the demon-May.

I disagree with the comparison to a politicking figurehead like a msgr. I prefer to see myself as on-par with the Canon Lawyer, appropriately and continuously (mis)interpret the decree from the Lord God Almighty(Rules Editor Rogers Redding) and attempt to bring some semblance of order to the game. Years and years of training(mostly beer drinking) to achieve a certain level of distinction and authority only to be allowed to cause a “WTF moment” whenever the parishoners get too comfortable in their own understanding.
