Selfishly as a huge NFL fan and not a MLB fan I would rather have seen him play football. BUT, other than the USC game in ’05, he disappeared against SOME of the elite teams like OSU ’05, UM ’06, USC ’06, and LSU ’06, so he may have struggled a bit in the NFL – maybe not.

At this point it doesn’t look like he’s ever going to be a truly great pitcher. But odds are he wasn’t going to be a truly great wide receiver either. Just how I feel, didnt feel like he gave everything he had that final year.
