I am with Wes. If Adam can say that Navy only got stymied by the Irish defence, because of their own ineptitude, then it is very easy to contend that the Irish should have been 9-3 last year and failed to get this record because of their own mistakes. We saw flashes of an incredible team last year. The Irish of the first half of the Carolina game was different from the team that came unravelled in the second half. If the Irish play to their talent level, the biscuit is pretty much on the mark.

I don't see how anyone can say Stanford, Pitt, or MSU will beat this Irish Squad. MSU and Pitt both lost the only offense they had and only won last year because the Irish fell apart. These should be two score wins easily.

And Stanford???? Sure they aren't the Stanford of old but The Irish basically stopped playing the game in the 4th quarter last year. Had they finished strong that would have been a two or three score win for the Irish.

USC is the ONLY team that should be favored over the Irish all season. The talent is there to go 11-1 or catch a break and go 12-0.

I'm with BJ...Navy is getting blown out of the water(like the pun?) this year. 48-10

Adam,

What Domer and BJ said.

I'm not saying Navy played their best game. But I 100% agree with these guys and don't buy that ND had nothing to do with it.

And that's cool you sat down with an expert. I'm sure he knows a lot more than I do. But I also know there are 2 teams on a field, and ND didn't just lie down and take naps while Navy tripped over them on their way to their worst Rushing production all season, and ~120 yards off their average production.
