For those who held their breath last season whenever Kyle Rudolph was tackled by the face, there’s good news: Notre Dame has more than one tight end!
Welcome back, Ragone! As noted in the South Bend Trib article, he was the #1 ranked Tight End in his recruiting class (a granfalloon term if I’ve ever heard one). Assuming he can stay healthy and regain the confidence that his knees won’t splinter at the slightest provocation, this is another good sign for next season’s offense.

This post seems to be missing the “Bunda” tag.

Wow, GREAT link. That article has tons of important stuff in it.
First of all, Ragone is a junior, but most likely, he’ll be eligible for a 5th season, correct? And if so, I wonder if charlie would go to a spread-oriented 2-TE game? Our running game is absolute shit(based on past years) and we have an all-world talent at QB and some of the same at WR. Why not use our strengths to minimize the ineptitude running?
Secondly, that news about Darrin is rough. Nothing much more to say about that, but God rest his uncle’s soul.
Finally, ANELLO IS BACK!!!! YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Nice picture. Makes me hope the Irish use a “spread” formation this year
