My methodology was impeccable and it's complete coincidence that they ended up so high AND that I went there for grad school. I never have nor will support UCLA football in any way. If anything, I am completely neutral on them. I will have been to 2 games when I go to the ND game to support the Irish against the Bruins, and the first was a drunken tailgating mess where no one watched the game.

My methodology included a weighted average of 1) My Quality Rating, 2) Media Opinion (average ranking end of last season), 3) Whether Being Good will Help ND 4) Level of Hate and 5) Hotness of Cheerleaders. Seriously, I did a weighted average that included Hotness of Cheerleader. We're objective, but no one said we're logical.

There were 7 teams I ranked higher than UCLA in my own personal opinion, but the media was hot on them, it'll help ND if they win a lot, and their cheerleaders are smoking. The only place where my rating system really helped them was the hatred factor. Where USC was a 1 (meaning I despise them) and ND a 10, UCLA got an average-at-best 6, which means I'm neutral, maybe slightly positive.

How's that for full disclosure, biz-natch???

Plus, that's why we did a combined ranking, to eliminate those biases (even if they're not there). I bet you believe in Area 51 and the Grassy Knoll too. The magic bullet theory works!!!

Gee, I wonder who put UCLA #2 on their ballot?

I realize you went to grad school there, but let's try and be objective here. This is like Spurrier voting Duke on every pre-season coaches poll.

In the interest of full disclosure, can we see the completed ballots for all of the HLS team members? Then someone at Blue Gray Sky would be able to do an analysis showing the different amounts of bias between each of you and show you why your whole damn system is corrupt.
