”I was just talking to all the coaches and talking about the all-around academics and athletics at Notre Dame and how profound and incredible a Notre Dame degree is in the world,” Redfield said.” via southbendtribune.com
Seer’s Vision: Blue Chipper in the defensive secondary. Something the Irish haven’t been able to pick up. The gentlemen back there now have done a fine job, but its always good to add blue chips to places that have been viewed historically as a weakness for the Irish. If we can make a habit of getting blue chips on the back end of the defense to match up with the blue chips up front, then the staff here at HLS could suit up on the offensive side of the ball and we’d still have a great chance to win the game. Redfield has the size to be an elite player at the next level. He’s got a nose for the ball and has enough skill to play both sides of the ball, at WR and S. He’s got a large range in the back end of the defense and shows some good speed. Shows a great football IQ at the high school level. We’ll see if it tranlates to the next level, but everything indicates it should. Given his impression of Notre Dame and his recent shunning of a Ducks visit, I’d say we have a good shot at landing this kid. 70% Irish.
