Favorite Quotes:
“I sat down with one of (Notre Dame’s) academic advisers, and they laid the statistics out, and it was crazy as far as African-Americans, 99 percent of African-Americans graduate from there,” Smith said.
“You can go down the list, Ohio State, Illinois and Alabama, and none of them were close.”

Seer’s Vision:
Freak? Monster? Rare athlete? The highest ranked recruit since Jimmy Clausen comes on the defensive side of the ball. Watching and reading about this kid is downright exciting. He’s already 3 for 3 on state titles. Absolutely dominate at the high school level, a man among boys. He’s got a winning pedigree. He’s shown a high football IQ. He’s very agile and speedy (plays RB as well in high school). I can gush all day, but the comparisons to Manti are warranted, both on and off the field and that’s about as high a compliment I can give. I wouldn’t worry about the 2.9 GPA, his quote says it all. He’ll be the centerpiece of what should be an absolutely dominate defense in the years to come. Given he’s recruiting for us as hard as anyone, I’d say he’s Irish for sure and we are damn lucky to have him. 100%
