Favorite Quotes from the recruit:

“It’s a program I really want to be at,” he said. “I’m trying to get [the decision] out of the way and think about the next level.” via nypost.com

“I know it’s the right decision,” said Hayes, “This is what I dreamed of. Notre Dame is a great academic institution, the football program is amazing. It’s high up there. via nypost.com

“It’s a great opportunity for me and I just wanted to take advantage of it by committing early and getting everything out of the way,” Hayes said. “I can focus on school and becoming a better student and look at what I want to major in and other parts of academics other than football.” via southbendtribune.com

Seer’s Vision: Recruited to play DE at Notre Dame, he is still rated the #9 OT by some recruiting services. I’ll take the staffs word for it, apparently set to play NT if need be as well. A good get to continue what is becoming our trademark, a monstrous defensive line. Bob Diaco pulls in another big one from the northeast, I sure hope he stays around for a few more years. Give the assist to Ishaq Williams, telling the young man about the life at Notre Dame and the value of the degree. Unable to locate any video, so hard to make any comment on his playing ability. It seems to be even more depth for our outstanding (and relatively young) front seven. One thing to notice, is that because we’ve done so well recruiting the 2013 class, we’ve been able to focus really early on 2014.

About RiverParkSeer

Recruiting Guru
Raised in the shadow of the Dome.

Known to be either right or wrong about a recruits status, his 50% success rate is unsurpassed by any other recruiting guru. He grew up in South Bend and have been known to argue football anywhere. He was once within three feet of Lou Holtz and Jerome Bettis at the same time. He was present at the Snow Bowl vs. PSU in the early 90s. He has been known to scream at the television and sincerely believes it impacts the outcome of the game. He hates USC more than Michigan.
