Favorite Quote from the recruit:

“One of the things that intrigues me about Notre Dame is the academic prestige. They graduate 99 percent of their athletes,”Vanderdoes said. “You go to Notre Dame, you graduate and you’re set for life. Football’s not forever. It’s a great culmination of football and a great program with tradition. They’re back on the rise again. That really sticks out to me.” -(southbendtribune.com)

Seer’s Vision: Top 3 at his position in all recruiting services. Fast hands, fires off the ball, great strength. Surprisingly fast for how big he is. Has been dominant at all of the all star camps against top lineman. Looks like a young man that can contribute right away. Does well against both the pass and the run, but if I had to lean I’d say he’s a better run stopper. He would make a great addition to our D-line, and would push from playing time immediately. Reminds me of LNIII after his slim down. His de-commitment from USC has many believing we are currently in the lead, myself included.  He has a visit on 1/25/2013. He also has a visit scheduled for Alabama later. I believe this may be down to signing day with this one, and I like our chances. I’d be more comfortable if we got a commitment on the day of his visit. These battles with Bama on the recruiting trail are important if we expect to unseat them on the field. Would be a nice way to end the class and secure the D-line for another year. 70% Irish.
